Good Bread Wing

We were only in Bergen for just over a day and enjoyed the food and atmosphere here so much that we returned a further two visits. Helpful staff sorted out us tourists when didn’t have a clue which sandwich to choose!

It‘s a lovely coffee shop. The staff is really friendly and helpful! There are the following gluten free options: buy a whole gluten free bread, create your own sandwich with gluten free bread or 3 different small sweets.

The place is beautiful and the waiters are incredibly nice! It’s just that my expectation was to have nice warm pastry and bread but felt it was a bit too old. In comparison the Rema 1000 store had like cheap sweat bread and it was a quite better. But I’m willing to try another day when things are freshly out of the oven!

Very confused about the rating of this place. I came before the airport to have one last cinnamon roll. She brought freshly baked ones. I was excited but it was the very worst I had on this trip to Norway. Not sure what went wrong but I would not recommmend this place, especially since it totals you to €10 for the pastry and coffee, you re expecting it to be good.

I ordered their latte and the most classic bread. 🍞 the bread would be much better if it’s warm. Coffee was great!

10/10. The best cafe in the entirely of Bergen. We didn’t realise it was a chain as it just felt so cosy. Selection is vast and you can even choose to make your own sandwich.

You step off the funicular and this little gem is literally on your left..... The coffee is the best as are the cakes and sandwiches... I opted for the cinnamon swirl, which Norway is famous for. Sat outside people watching my idea of bliss..

First breakfast meal while visiting Bergen and it was amazing. We ordered a sourdough bread customized vegetarian sandwich and also requested them to toast it. Super friendly staff and everyone was so kind. Cozy seating space with an option of outdoor seating as well. We enjoyed so much that we might go here again during our trip. Restrooms were clean and well maintained with a restroom for special ability people as well.
